Every year, we hold an Annual Family Conference which provides people living with Marfan syndrome and related disorders, and their families, an opportunity to learn about these conditions from the country’s medical experts, hear about the latest research, and connect with other people who are on the same medical journey. The conference offers a concurrent program that consists of presentations for medical professionals on the latest diagnosis, treatment, and research on Marfan syndrome and related disorders. Experts from the host institution and members of our Professional Advisory Board, who are the country's leading experts on these disorders, present the lectures. In addition, doctors and other healthcare professionals are invited to observe in the free health evaluation we offer to patients who attend the conference. This provides first-hand experience with a multitude of patients with these conditions. If you are interested, please contact us.
Our Annual Family Conference is held every summer at varying locations. Our 33nd Annual Family Conference, co-hosted by Emory Healthcare and Sibley Heart Center, is scheduled for August 3-6, 2017, in Atlanta.
